We had a beautiful celebration, all in family. We enjoy dinner together and we had so much fun. Look at the pictures and imagine.

Our funny little girls had so much fun.

We had lots of food. Pork, rice and gandules, salads, green bananas (escabeche),sodas and vanilla flan mmmmmmmmmm delicious.

Preparing for Holidays

Hi girls. I hope all of you are having fun during this holiday season. For me is been pretty good. Im just preparing things for our Christmas Dinner. I want everything to be as nice and delicious as it can be. I have to prepare the pork, we call it pernil, the arroz con gandules and a real good coconut flan. It is going to be over my mothers house and they are going to bring more goodies for that special celebratrion.

Christmas always has been my favorite holiday, it brings me back good memories from my childhood. I remember Santa Claus bringing me beautiful toys as a little girl. I will always remember my favorite doll, a beautiful black doll with a BIG red bow on top of her head and the Kenner oven in which I baked cakes and cookies and my brother will eat them all, I cant still remember the taste of my first chocolate cake,it was delicious. Now a days I have two young girls and I want them to have those beautiful experiences, but I also want them to recognize that Jesus is the reason to celebrate. That he borned,and die for our sins and that he still alive and one He will come back to get His church. For us Christmas is all year.

This card was made by one of the girls of sb friends group and I copy them and made some of my own creation.

I also have made some beaded rings to give as gifts. My friend Wilma is teaching me how to make them, believe me they are lovely. Some of them I made them with sorovsky crystal.

Long time

Its been a long time since I havent post to the blog. I've been having problems with my computer. I hope that you excuse me. I'll be posting soon and will let you know about the things that happened in my crafty life.

LO

This is a projecdt that I made,it is an accordeon. In one side we have pictures of my tea party and at the other side ,my daughter's tea party.

Some projets

Hi. I want to share some of the projects that I have made.

This is a girly LO. I created with TAC stamps and paper. I painted them with watercolors and some details with the Souffle 3-D Opaque Puffy Inks.

I made two LO's which I called Once upon a Time WE Were ALL Dressed Up. I made five dresses in different paper patterns and placed them on as a border. I used stamps from Club Scrap and Tac. Also cut many circles and placed then on top of the LO's. I put some pictures of my daughters and enjoy it.

Scrapbooking

I am glad that I can start writting again in my blog. I have so many things that I will share with you. First I will share some pictures that speaks from thereself.

This are some of my students,Minerva , Wilma, Milagros and Rosin. They were making a mini album.

This picture was taken at a demonstration from TAC. They were making a nice card and they were practicing some stamping technics and painting with watercolors. From right to left, Sonia, Joy, Cuca and Wilma.

More students, Sonia, Sheila(thats me),Luz,Blanca and her niece. We had so much fun creating with the Angel.

Back to business

Im sorry,is been so long since I dont write on my blog. I had all kinds of problems from health to computer problems but thats part of life. Right now everything is back to normal. I have a new business with the angel company, a stamping one ,and everything is going pretty well. I've been doing funshops weekly and I've been very creative,wish is good. I will be sharing the latests projects with you all as soon as I can. For now, HAVE A GOOD NIGHT.

Crazy for ATC's

This ATC's were made out of a Happy Meals box from Mc Donalds. I saw that cute box and very fast came to my mind ATC's,ATC'sATC's, so I asked my daughter if I could get the box and she gave it to me and she was so surprised to see the box turned into ATC's. I love Shreck and Fiona and know I have them in my collection.

This cards were made from a spinning machine that my daughter owns. We made the backgrounds together and then we started creating. It was fun. Mother and daughter working together.

More of those spinning cards. The first six were embellished with victorian girls stickers from Violets stickers. We made so many that we traded some.

Atc's from our cat Mishe that left the house and never came back. This is a tribute to her.

Want to know what ATC's are?

ARTIST TRADING CARDS are miniature works of art created on 2 ½ X 3 ½ inch or 64 X 89 mm card stock. they are originals, small editions and, most importantly, self-produced. anybody can produce them.Theidea is that you trade them with other people who produce cards, either at TRADING SESSIONS or wherever you meet another ATC trader in person.I is important that you meet other people in person to trade - i.e. it is ok to trade by mail or to participate in editions but the main purpose of this performance is the trading session and the personal meeting. It's not about money: participants in trading sessions and editions should not be charged any money: the point of the project is the exchange of cards as well as personal experience.The projectwasinitiated in 1997 by zurich artist m.vänçi stirnemann. since then several hundred people from all over the world have traded ATCs during TRADING SESSIONS through mail and swaps.You can really enjoy it .I personally have cards from all over the world and you get to know so many people from many countries .the ARTIST TRADING CARD is basically a variation of the well-known trading cards one can buy - same size (64 x 89 millimeters / 2 ½ x 3 ½ inch).but it differs in the way it is produced : it is either an original or a very small edition. they are miniature works of art. one can make single cards or small editions. on the back of the card is the signature, the date and the number (if the card is part of an edition). all techniques and materials are allowed. WHAT TYPES OF ART ARE ACCEPTED?all types of art are accepted, all techniques (paintings, drawings, collages, photographs, rubberstamp works, mixed media, found images, assemblages, etc.). only rule is the size: 64 x 89 mm or 2 ½ x 3 ½ inches.

Swap

This ATC's were mail to me by an 11 yr old girl from Qatar (Arabia). They are so lovely. This is the first time that I recieve ATC's from such a young girl and from so far away. Thanks to Bratz, I will give her an excellent rate.
She also sent me a bookmark and this beautiful note. This girl is an artist. Blessings for her.

Addicted to ATC's

My 5yo daughter and I are hook on ATC's.We have been making so many and trading even more.We started in April and that month we made over a hundred of them,trading more than 65 -75 . Our craft room is a mess ,papers ,glue ,scissors,etc all over the place,but we really enjoy creating together. She started trading cards via internet and she always keeps track of them,she is very responsable.We want to share with tou some of the cards that we have made.

This cards were made for the PINK PINK SWAP from Swapbot.They are really cute.
These cards were made for the Black and White ATC swap,are they lovely?

Some of the Victorian Ladies cards I made,some for trading and the others for my personal collection .I love Victorian and Vintage cards ,those are my favorites.

I painted the backgrounds with alcohol inks and then distressed it with guesso and kept playing with colors until I got what I wanted. I stamped them and then apply the pictures. I enjoy making them and I made lots which I already trade.
This are from the Peeled Paint Swap ,it was a challenge for me because I never done it before but they came out nice. I hope that you really enjoy my cards ,if you did leave a comment. Until next time.

Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all .Enjoy this day with your mom and other family and if you can take some time for crafting .This is the ideal day to create with your mom. Teach her a new tecnique for ATC's or scrapbook and let her teach you some needlecrafts or some crochet. Share that time together and let others do the cooking for you, unless you have a new recipe that you want to share with your mom. Have peace on your mind knowing that you did have the best time whith her because you never know if this will be the last mothers day together. Tea swap

Look what I got from Geneovive from Swizerland. As you can see she mailled me delicious teas ,which I had some already, bookmarks ,beautiful cards and extremely delicious swiss chocolates . She also mailled me some pictures of her family and her country.I really love to meet people from all over the world and keep in touch with them.Right now I have friends from all over the USA ,Phillipines , Germany ,Australia ,Holland , and other countrie that right now I cant remember. I will be posting them soon.

Lately I've been in many swaps and I recieved easter cards , post cards from all over the world and now im into ATC's
